Oops, I meant in recording mode. Anyone know?
Does any of the Lilliput monitors output an HD signal for the T2i?

Its a function of the camera NOT the monitor. the lilliput will display whatever is sent to it, but since the T2i has a single processor it must degrade the HDMI output to utilize the processor for recording, where as the 7d has dual processors and can output the HD preview without down-scaling.
unfortunately this makes racking focus more difficult during recording, but if you have a FF with a witness disc you can mark and practice your racking while in preview in full HD then just recreate while viewing in SD.
