Hey Everyone!

We recently shot and cut together this documentary on this video game Starcraft 2. We wanted to showcase the amount of work behind this and the reason why people do it.

I would say it is shot 80% with the T3I, the 20% is with the b-cam, the Panasonic HVX - I think you can tell when its with the t3i vs the Panasonic, as the t3i has a much softer look to the shots.

Used a 2.8 28mm Nikon lens on the t3i, the canon 55-250, the canon 50mm 1.8.
A lowell light kit. Manfrotto tripods. Glidetrack slider. Sennheiser Boom.

Hope you enjoy :)
Let me know if you guys got any questions!

I thought the content was really interesting and all put together well. I've heard and seen some of the star craft tournament videos on youtube and it really is amazing.
One thing that stood out to me were the interview shots using two cameras. I thought the wide angle to the left of the talent was a bit too wide. If it was me I would have had that shot the tight one, and then the other camera to the right of talent maybe a little wider. But that's just my opinion.

Thanks for the kind words. I definitely think the framing could've used some work. It was such a hectic run and gun weekend and with only two of us running the show, unfortunately that was one of the things overlooked.

Anyways, thanks for watching!
