After you start a render do you then go and do other things on your machine or leave it be?
I tend to leave it be, maybe jump on a different machine or my phone or something. I even once considered starting a podcast called "Render time with Mike" where each show starts with me hitting render and then lasts as long as the render takes. Though I've had some overnight renders, so there would need to be another cap. lol
I know computers are fast and efficient these days, but I still have it in my head that multitasking can potentially create a glitchy video. It's happened to me in the past, though I don't remember when the last time was. Could have been 15-20 years ago for all I know.
If it's a really short video I can rerender quickly, I will multitask, but for anything longer or with a quick turn around I'll leave the machine be. How about you?
