We agreed to trade my DVX and accessories for his 40D and lenses and I received a Canon XL1. Not what we had planned. Now he is acting like that was the plan all along and I am making things up. Here is what I said in a message,

Lets just sort everything out,

Also he was going to give me a $200 money order. I never received any of what he said he was going to send. Today (a week later than the package should have arrived) I get a beat up XL1 from the UPS man. When was that in the situation? He also verbally abused me, then says I was doing that to him. I'm taking him to court to get my gear back and hopefully he'll learn his lesson, but either way don't bother with him. People like him are the reason most people don't deal on the internet.

So to sum it up, DO NOT deal with him, he has bad feedback on other forums and has a bad history.
 
How dumb of me to not just do a little research and just have avoided this, oh well :(. Luckily I know his real identity and not some fake name, I've also contacted his grandma so I know it's really him.
 
Hope it works out for you. I almost got screwed by this guy. He said his name was Lisa Mazucco and if I ordered him over $1000 in equipment to be shipped to a Florida address he would send me a letus extreme. I googled the address and found out the Joe Dono saga before sending anything out. I got the same verbal abuse. I put a warning on the sale post and pmed Jared and another mod to tell them about it but it took about a week before he was closed out.
This little s$%t really bothers me. He obviously is a talentless useless sack of nothing who lurks the internet all day trying to screw over hard working people who actually have the motivation and talent to do something with themselves. You can google him to find his arrest record, mug shot, and stories from countless other forum members who have been victim to this ballbag. I even found a photography website where he was earning respect with some impressive HDR work until a member found he was jerking the pictures from another photographers website and passing them as his own. I have been in contact with a sherif at his local police department and I am trying to make sure something is done to stop him. If anyone on here has had a dealing with him get in touch with the hernando sherif. Here is his arrest record and I cannot understand why it isn't 10 times longer than this. Go to the main page of the website and you can call the sherif or email them. It was a Det. Gomes who was originally processing his case. Sorry I had to rant a little.

i can't believe someone can continue to get away with this sort of blatent fraud/theft in the US. I'm more surprised nobody has put this kid in hospital or the ground yet with the amount of scams he has pulled off.
 
I wasn't as close, but he did offer up his XL1 and XL2, and when I mentioned I was planning on focusing squarely on upgrading my post setup, he said he had a '09 Nehalem Quad Core Mac Pro for trade for my HMC150. I'm glad I didn't take him up on his offer. How is this dips**t not in jail yet? Moreover can't someone with friends in the Air Force have them send a precision guided bomb on his house? :kali:

He also asked for my XH-A1 for a trade. He did seem a bit odd but I did reply as a benefit of the doubt and my interest in the rails hes "selling" Lol.

Thanks for the heads up, didnt think I was gonna buy from him anyway though.

I had someone contact me named Lisa Mazzuca and said she was using a friends account Regal LLC because her Internet was down. She said her own company was JT Productions, which has just popped up all over this forum. Ready for this , she said she had a son named Joesph.
Whoa, I'm getting a headache thinking about it, does this Lisa even exist?
Any way thought I'd mention it,hope u get it sorted out

That sounds so fake haha. Using a friends DVXUser account because HER internet was down? If I didnt know better, I thought you could login to your account from any internet connection. And she must be on some connection since she can login to her "friends"

Sounds WAY too fishy. Haha

Same address and name he gave me. I cannot understand why this moron is still aloud near a computer. I don't know if that address is actually his or he somehow just has access to it. His arrest report shows an address at California Street I think it was and it is in the next town over.
