Do I need a special card....

Hello:
I'm considering getting a HVX 200. I have a DP 2.3 G5 with 1.5 gigs of RAM. Do I need a AJA or similar card to edit with my G5? I'm on a tight budget...Any help in this area would be appreciated....Thank You, Norman

You can offload P2 cards from the camera using Firewire -- all you need to do is install the drivers that Panasonic provides, and the card(s) will mount on your desktop.

I intend to use FCP Studio 2 and a G Force 320 gigs , but I'm open to suggestions on the storage....Thank you in advance for help help....Norman
