7D Do all 7Ds exhibit these issues?...

Hey guys,

Just got a brand new 7D from an authorized retailer, and noticed a few things. Firstly, the top LCD is fainter than my 5DMKII's, and secondly, the eyecup is slightly wobbly.

Do all 7Ds exhibit these issues?

I don't have a 5D mrk II to compare my top LCD screen to, but my eyepiece does seem a little wobbly.
Not the biggest problem in the world but you would think an expensive piece of equipment wouldn't have these small issues.

If your worried about the eyepiece wobbling and damaging your eye, perhaps some safety goggles? Maybe a helmet as well just to make sure.

Yeah, my eyepiece is slightly wobbly but it's really not a big deal.

Who said anything about damaging my eye?

If I pay over a grand for a DSLR, I don't expect the eyecup to feel like it's about to fall off!

Anyway, like Andrew said, it's not the biggest problem in the world - I was merely enquiring as to whether this was an issue with the 7D in general, or if the problem with my eyecup / LCD was isolated.
