DIY IndieSlider...

Yes. Excellent production value overall. Excellent story, shots, sound and editing!!! and camera work. Lighting OK - could be lower key to emphasize the angst of creative 'block'.
I think I was around 18 when I last had this mental block. Keep up the excellent work!
Remember that the shorter sliders (12"-3') are excellent for approach dollies as well as lateral dolly moves!

Hi Zeph. I put up a description of the usage of bearings to get a pan-effect in my post.

Instead of the metal channel, you can use the Igus base and you have a pan head..

Darn..Posted in the wrong thread.. That was supposed to be for the flexible track dolly thread..

Zephyrniod- Hey thanks for the feedback.
One thing I noticed when I was editing was I have a tendency to over-light. The scopes pointed it out time and time again. I'm thinking I need to spend some more time in the lighting forum!

Promo shot with a ZaZa inspired slider

Promo shot with a ZaZa inspired slider

Hey guys,

I've just shot a new promo with the ZaZa inspired slider (1.00 meters long).

So far I love this slider... I think it will become my every day bread and butter (as in smooth - pun intended) production tool...together with the Texanite Acrylic Dolly.

Here it is:

Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks.

Zaza ... tell me about it! It has almost begun "growing" attached to my camera. As far as a cut, Zaza...You'll always be mentioned in the credits section - "The Zaza Inspired Slider"...Specially in any of the upcoming projects :)

In the meantime check out the full promo:

Hi guys, have you ever thought about something like that?

It´s for fishing poles and works like a charm with a slider.
Got it from ebay for about hundred bucks.

I guess they call it a "pole pod" or "rod holder" or something like that in English.
But I´m not into fishing, so what do I know?

Darn... looks like a great find, but I can't find that unit on eBay or anywhere else for that matter...bummer. I'll keep searching.

Frank, could you post a a picture of you using it? I'd love to see how you rigged it up...
