DIY handheld rig for gh2 question

Would this wiring set up still control the gh2 if I use a 2.5mm jack instead of the 3.5mm?

Yep no problem it's only the size which is different

When we put in the jack that we have it recognizes it as an external mic. We arent completly sure how to attatch the wires to the jack itself. I'll upload a pic of the jack itself in a second.

We are going to exchange the 90 degree angle jack for a straight jack then try to test it out.

Sorry I lead you wrong there a bit, it is a 2.5" jack but you need a 4 pole one

The rest of the rig will work, right? The 3 part wire and the 2 buttons.

That link I posted says the wiring is different for the GH2, you don't need 3 wires to each handle. though you can still put them in if you want and you'll need to put the resistors in the circuit somewhere before the plug
