DIY Flos and XHA1

I can't afford no Kino Flos so I went to my local Home Depot and picked me up some work lights for $30 a piece and some 40w 6500 tubes.

Bolted two together for more light....nothing more than the fluorescents and daylight in these stills....there is no flicker at all from these lights.

they are on a C stand...if you look real hard, you can see the slightly left offset of the stand.

Either that or they are levitating.

That looked absolutely fantastic Steven, especially the first shot in the video. Were you using the extreme for any of it or stock lens? And just out of curiosity, how much do kino flo's cost?
