RED should have a line of cheap plastic lenses. That way if they grow fungus, you just chuck them. They would be light weight and inexpensive. (Nikon in Japan has a cheap plastic fish eye lens for their SLR cameras.) If I take a picture of my sister and the lens cracks, I don't worry.
