Disk Space and the HVX

[Blade Borge]

I'm green to HVX and it's ability to take up disk space. How many gigs does 1hr of uncompressed HVX footage take (24p, 720), (24p 1080)? What compressor do you use after it's been put in a NLE system?

Say I wanted to have enough space to fill 5 hours of uncompressed 1080 footage on my pc, how much would I need?

At 1080i60·720p60, a 32 GB p2 card will hold 32 minutes. You can do the math, but I believe that a 500 GB drive would be sufficient.

Also, remember that DVCProHD is NOT uncompressed HD.
