Digital Zoom

I want to film some wildlife soon. Could some one please tell me how to turn on the digital Zoom? The manual is just not making any since to me.

Agreed. Have you considered a teleconverter?

Digital zoom crops the image, reducing resolution. You can still use it, especially considering how many pixels you already have to start with. So I won't say don't use it, just be aware of the consequences. I don't know how to use it on this camera (assuming that's an option, it normally isn't for these types), but you can also crop in post to enlarge a section of the image.

OK..i will look into a teleconverter...but could someone kindly tell me how to still turn it on...even though its taboo...lol

I believe it is set in SW options, and can be assigned to a user button.

You just enable it on one of your user buttons, then click that button to cycle through the zooms
