ALL: Digital Zoom Samples - AG-AC 160

Hi all

I had a chance to try out the digital zoom feature today on the 160. At X2 the quality is still very good. In a pinch you could probably get away with X5, but X10 is definitely looking pretty blocky. Still, with a beefy tripod to hold the camera steady it's not bad when you consider X10 is equivalent to a 6000+ mm on a 35 mm camera

Agreed, x2 is surprisingly usable, and in DV mode it's really good. 720p mode X2 is better than 1080 mode X2. X5 and X10 are too blocky for my taste.

I've checked on-camera, but not yet reviewed the footage... but via the vcamera, x2 looks very usable; x5 maybe (probly fine for SD end product) - x10 is wretched.

...x2 is really a pleasant surprise!
