I'm running new beta firmware packages for the analog FPGA sensor board and for the DSP board. New firmware release is coming very shortly. Overall color tracking and chroma noise is much improved. Much easier to grade for good skin tones.
A couple of samples from a day of the dead art studio party. Mixed tungsten, fluorescent, and led available light environment. Cosmicar 12.5 f/1.6 lens at either f/1.6 or f/2 for most of these. 24p/400iso/180 shutter. Interior shots pushed to 1200 ISO. Exterior shot pushed to 3200 iso. Processed in Resolve 11 using DNG raw menu tools only, no luts, REC709 color space with sRGB gamma. Couldn't read the exterior light as it was too low to meter, but interiors were mostly in the 5 to 10 footcandle range on average.
Still frame from Suzy's Open Studio demo last Saturday. Light mostly from a single 6 tube T8 industrial high bay fixture with Phillips 5500K daylight balanced 80 or 85 CRI tubes. These tubes are very digital photo friendly with a nice overall cool balance. We lit Suzy's studio with them and shoot artwork under them with her Nikon. No problem pulling the color palette of her paintings in Photoshop. They produce nice skin tones too, a little warmer and richer than a lot of fluorescents.
