Differences between a specific Sigma lens

Hey guys,

I'm close to purchasing a telephoto lens for my Canon 7D. Specifically the:
Sigma 50-150mm F/2.8 APO EX DC HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens

Amazon link here: http://www.amazon.com/Sigma-50-150mm-Telephoto-Digital-Cameras/dp/B000HPOQKS

Can anyone tell me, however, what the difference is between this, older lens, and the newer one (below):
Sigma APO 50-150mm f/2.8 II EX DC HSM Zoom Lens

I've done some research into this, but can't find a clear answer for what the differences are (besides the fact that the newer one has a roman numeral II in its name, and the old one is APO)

Thanks.

I can't tell what the difference is either. The new model is still APO, they just moved "APO" to the front of the lens name. The press release says the newer version has better macro capabilities but the spec sheets are identical with respect to the minimum focus distance. I would just get the newer one unless there is a huge price difference which might mean other things.
