Hi, i was wondering if its better to take the Rokinon 35mm t1.5 cinelens for video over the rokinon 35mm f1.4.

I try to find out what is the difference and i didnt really understand.

The 35mm t1.5 is already declicked so its good. But if you have the 1.4, it could be decliked with the proper tool
.Is this important for video ??

Is there other advantages to buy the t1.5 cine lens ?

Thanks in advance for answers,
have a great day

P.S. I have a canon t3i

Think i got my answer here.
What do you guys think of this lens ???
thanks in advance,

The Rokinon (Samyang) cine primes are the exact same lenses optically. They simply changed the exterior focus and iris barrel and changed the markings on the outside. Which in my opinion was brilliant. The lenses were a great budget lens to begin with and Rokinon simply made a few simple modifications to make them much more usable for cinema applications. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference in any way between the photo and cine versions on the big screen.

Their main feature are racks co-operating with follow – focus system, and a ring rotated continuously. Thanks to these alterations it is possible to precisely and silently operate focus and depth of field. Another facility is putting aperture and focus scale parallel to the axis of the lens and aperture marked with number of transmission

Do i have an advantage to buy the cine lens instead of the 35mm f.14 ? I have not plan to use a rig. The aperture seem to be more smooth (there is no clicking) operating on the cine lens,

I have a hard time chosing between the 2.
The cine lens is 150$ more on ebay
Thanks in advance for advices,

I have the 35mm cine lens, Nice sharp glass. However, if your not going to be changing aperture during shooting get the non cine.
