did I goof?

I went out today and shot a few mins of footage for test purposes. Well, foolishly, I didn't check my shutter speed. I think I might have captured in 1/100. I sent the files to Voltaic and then into FCP. When played back the footage looks a little bit choppy. I cannot view my footage on my monitor yet because I also found out I need new hardware to see it correctly on a monitor:embarasse

any ideas?

Are you sure you are getting quick playback

Are you sure you are getting quick playback

Be sure you are getting a quick frame-rate on play back. Sometimes editing even with Voltiac created files is difficult for some PC's.

Try exporting to a DVD or HD disc format, or playing the original footage from the camera on an HD tv, see what the footage looks like to determine if your frame-rate was to fast, or if you are just getting choppy play-back?

Yet another reason video metadata, at least on camera, would be great to have...how 'bout it Panasonic?

Ok, I played the clips I converted before they hit FCP, in quicktime and they looked fine. So, the 'choppy video' is caused somewhere in FCP, maybe the sequence settings? Any ideas? Thanks..
