We shot this film in seven hours. Took a break from another project to do this one. It got a great message. Filming was in Rotorua and Gisborne New Zealand. We cast six top award winning Maori girls dancers between the ages of 12-13 for the main roles. The lead talent - Zanna age 13 choreograph her dance to tell the story.
After editing and watching it back if I ever was going to re-shoot it there would be a few different things I would have done. Yeah I'm one of those that goes crap I should have shot it this way. Not really looking for what if but more about the message in the story.
