Dial to adjust Warm/Cool color balance very quickly

I never understood why we havent seen this already:

I would love to have a dial on the body of the camera that once white balance has been set you can quickly adjust the shot warmer or cooler to fit your needs.

IE. For stylistic choices or to correct for the ever changing direct sun v.s. shady conditions we all deal with.

Think of it as a "Digital Color Filter Dial" Cool <> Red

Or a Push and turn Dial to dial in RGB curve balance to achieve looks:

Push once for R,
Again for G
and once more B

Great idea. I'd like to be able to dial in temperature by degree. Add RGB then toss in a few gamma curves and an intensity adjustment for those curves.

The ultimate solution - and I'd REALLY love to see this - is color adjustment software. Hook a laptop up to Red and use software to dial in a color correction like you might do with Photoshop. Pick white, pick black, adjust some curves, save to SDcard push "APPLY to Camera" and go shoot.

Can any camera do that? Seems like a no brainer feature every DP and Director would love. A LOT of people can run a Photoshop-like interface. It should load and save Photoshop curves too. Ya know, that kind of software would be handy to have around if you were building a new camera sensor from scratch and wanted to test it quickly in a lot of situations. ;-)
