Detail settings, getting a sharp image.

So im trying to get a sharper image without getting some noise, I've been playing around with the 3 detail settings and so far this is the one I most like.

Detail: +4
V Detail: +4
Detail Coring: +7

If anyone has ever shot with a high detail and has screen shots, please post them. Any suggestions you might want to add, go right ahead. Oh and I plan on shooting in 60i with these detail settings. Mostly for sports, I just like the sharper look on the person.

detail level 0 is still going to be sharp with less noise then 4.

How is your exposure too? with low light or an underexposed scene, you'll notice more noise also.

Exposure will be sunny, maybe some overcast too, but I can always bump the detail down for when that happens.

If you wanna reduce noise expose as if you don't have a gain switch. I turned mine off. all of them read 0 db.

The sweet spot of the lens is around F5.6. If you can control your lighting/use ND filters to where you are exposing at F5.6, it's where the lens is sharpest, without having to add lots of artifical edge enhancement.
