Deliveries??!!

What I've heard from my sales guy at Full Compass is to expect delivery to me around the 27th. In her sales presentation in Boston, Jan told the group there that the first shipments from the factory would begin by the 18th. And hopefully the cameras would be "in everybody's hands by the 27th." I don't know if she meant the store's hands, or the final customer's hands.
I will add that Jan actually chimed in here a couple weeks ago to add that the cameras do not sail, they fly from Japan. So I would expect things will start getting chirpy around here sometime next week, regarding news of these cameras starting to hit the shores.

Our dealer here in Montreal (inter cité) indicated AF100s are expected next week. While I would love to have it over the holidays to get to learn it, the family unit ships out for Christmas in the maritimes mid-week so I don't imagine my greasy little palms will actually get one even though we were first on their list.
My luck will have the dealer call at 3pm in the afternoon to tell me I can pick up the camera. Problem is, I'll have just crossed the bridge heading east for Christmas after sitting in traffic for two hours.
The wife will shake her head as my eyes plead for a return to the city.

I also have checked, and perhaps people from other countries may get them ealier, but as far as the US is concerned, we will see them hit our shores around the 27th as others have said.
If someone says they are getting it ealier, I think the response should be "Pictures, or it didn't happen"

Where I ordered (CinequipWhite) they are still saying months end as well.

Agreed. We've also never dealt with the dealer we pre-ordered from before so it's entirely possible they're being overly optimistic.

I'll have to contact Full Compass and find out, I get back in town on the 26th so if it was earlier than that, I'd need to have it sent elsewhere to get it!

Just called Shawn @ Full Compass and put the remainder of the $$ on my CC.
He said that they still expect them in on the 27th.
Oh, and I got the last 2 extra HMC150/AF100 batteries in stock too.
