Does anyone know if you can delete clips from C-Fast card and still get reliable recording? This was possible on the HPX/HVX200 back in the day with clip marking.
Does anyone know if you can delete clips from C-Fast card and still get reliable recording? This was possible on the HPX/HVX200 back in the day with clip marking.
If you format the card in camera before the shoot and during the day delete a few clips to conserve space on your card you'll probably be fine.
The card will rerecord on these spaces at the end of the cards capacity and the max write-rate may drop a bit.
The problems start when your using delete files as an alternative to formatting as the card will become fragmented over time and your write-rate will drop significantly
