Shot this awhile back, but never got around to posting it. Was originally just setting out to test the cam with the steadicam, but the footage looked so great I decided to make a short experimental piece with it.

Unfortunately I forgot to adjust my shutter speed for the slo mo, so it's not ULTRA smooth like I would have liked, but turned out good none the less. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks. Good shutter for 60fps could be anywhere around 100-120. Think of it as: if you usually shoot at 1/48th in 24fps, then double it. Or, if you shoot 1/60th = 1/120th. That should give good motion for slo mo.

very nice, which glidecam and glass?

I think you benefitted greatly from having a very beautiful subject

Thanks. No glidecam, shot this on the Steadicam Pilot. I agree 100% that the subject made this what it is ;)

About 70% of the shots were using a manual Nikon 50mm f1.2 at around f4-f5/6, and a few of the wider shots were on a Nikkor 28mm f2.8. We were losing light REALLY fast, so by the time we got all set up, we had about 15-20 minutes of light left to shoot.

Thanks for the compliments guys

Yah, yah... she's really got it...

She's a local artist who's just gotten into acting in the past year or so I believe. I got her an audition for a small role in a movie right after we shot this, and she nailed it. A week later, through some friends of mine working on the new Jerry Bruckheimer/NBC series "Chase", she got another audition. Got the part just like that.

Music is by Ólafur Arnalds, song title: "Raein"
