My companies XHA1 is getting old and its time to find a replacement. After some research I found 2 that fall under our budget. The XF100 and the Sony NEX-VG10. The xf100 is about 2250 while the Sony is 1500. Here is the criteria for our company:
-We need something that works well with Sony Vegas 9, just drop the raw into the timeline and edit away.
-Something lighter than the xha1 because we travel a lot. From what I see the XF100 is smaller/lighter and the NEXT is very small.
-We sometimes deal with low light and depth of field so I wanna make sure the camera can handle it.
I personally love the XF100 as its an upgrade from the xha1 but with the price vs quality aspect, the Sony seems like the best buy.
Anybody wit experience with any of these cameras?
