I would also like to chime in and congratulate all of the entrants. I really enjoyed watching everything last night. There is a clear winner in my mind (I've already voted) but it's great to see so much participation.

We're in very different time zones. I woke up and started downloading when thartley and others were just going to sleep. Now it's time for me to hit the sheets while all of you watch videos. And what a variety of videos they are. Great stuff. You all have a nice day.

Thanks John. THere were no effects added to this piece aside from speeding up the footage and the occasional white flash. The light streaks from the passing trucks were exactly what came out of the camera using 1/4 shutter speed in 30p.

David, I went to Leavenworth which is like a Christmas town up north and I shot the first half of it up there and heading back home. The second half is the same journey going through Carnation and the end is the long street leading up to my house on the Plateau.

The talent in King and Angel in the Rain is great. When that dudes VOICE OVER opens the Sunset shot I was totally into it. Best acting for sure

I totally agree...When he started talking I sort of slumped back in my chair and got real comfy as one will at the beginning of a good flic

I agree, the male lead was very good and I enjoyed the cinematography...nice framing.

Exactly. That shot of (I assume it's L.A?) is wonderful; with the clouds and sun light streaking.

(edit) Antomic, glad you like the shirt. It was suppose to be the 'get rich quick' idea everyone has in their lifetime. But laziness and poor business skills placed it on the "where are they now" shelf. You can still order one through CafePress. (I won't win this contest, but I think I just closed a sale. Yes!)  ;D

King and Angel was great. The acting and cinematography were top notch. And John, I thought the same thing. The VO was dead on! It immediately pulls you in. That's some good casting and directing. Also, taking the camera out on a rainy day. That takes guts.

Thanks everyone. It's been A LOT of fun watching all these movies. I can't believe I voted for another person! (Once again, poor business skills.)

But while I've got your attention, just finished watching your video. Wow! Disjecta, you're an artist with a great eye (2 eyes). Every frame (2 fields) shows it. Good stuff. I almost backed out when I saw your name on the list. Good luck!
