Deals on T2i

Hey guys,
Remember when the 7d was coming out and places were doing some crazy cash backs (example: 15% at circuit city I remember was one such deal). Anyway, if allowed, I would like to start a thread that lets buyers know of any deals going on for the T2i.
I don't really have anything massively interesting, but Best Buy is doing 8% bing cashback at Best Buy right now which will knock about $70 off the price. Anyone got anything else?
 
Can you tell me how you find certain stores through Bing cashback? And have you found the prices to be competitive with non-Bing stores? It seems like everytime I pull up a price on Bing, its 5 to 10% more than other stores - negating the cashback savings. I just tried a T2i search on bing and got a bunch of stores I have never hard of - how do you find Best Buy on there?
 
the best way to find out about what sites are having great cashback deals is slickdeals. If a store increases their cashback percentage someone will post it there.
 
i'd just love to find anywhere that will have the T2i for sure on the 24th! I'll pay overnight shipping, whatever, i need the sucker ASAP.
 
there's always that 10% off coupon for best buy. i just found one online the other day. my friend used it to buy a d90. don't know how the bing cash back works. can you stack that with the 10% coupon?
 
Best buy tends to be REALLY overpriced though, so 10% is nullified. I see B+H on Bing Cashback, as well as Adorama, but it's only like 3%...

I'd also like to suggest that before you part with your cc details at a vendor you aren't familiar with, you check the customer feedback at www.resellerratings.com to save yourself from future possible regret.
 
i don't find best buy overpriced. i used bing cashback for my 7d and it was not jacked up at all. it was the $1899 w/ lens or $1699 w/o lens that everyone else was using and then 8% cashback. the 10% coupon is only good for in store as far as i know and bing cashback is only good online. the only thought might be to have the camera sent to a store (meaning you order online and choose site to store shipment) and then when you get there you show your coupon (but since you would have paid online when you placed the order i don't know if that would work or not)

occasionally there is a 12% coupon too that BB puts out... but hanging tight for a 15% cashback from a store that doesn't charge sales tax is the best option. also in this price range they often don't charge shipping. i am holding out for a circuit city or possibly a sears 15% because i have seen it on both at some point
 
Bing Cashback takes 60 days to get deposited into your account. So lets just say you were to find a 10% bing cash back you would get $90 back in 60 days. While that is an average deal I would rather get a deal now than having to wait 60 days.

I bought the t2i with kit lens for $855 ( waiting on delivery )

Looks like B&H has the 899 kit in stock (w/18-55). Not the "body only" yet though.

I just added it to my cart...all indicators are that it is in-stock right now and will ship immediately (overnight delivery reception on Thursday).

just so you guys know buy.com has an ebay store and has 2 auctions going right now. with bing cashback you would get the camera for $807 I believe... or very close to that
