A standardized software/hardware solution to Daisy Chain RED cameras for non-traditional aspect ratios, specifically for digital billboard/video environment applications.
The 4K res is great, but I already work on a video screen with a native 5120/768 ratio, and billboards keep getting bigger. It would be nice to be able to hook a few REDs up to a pixel-perfect matrix that would allow 8k, 16k, 200k, whatever, in both vertical and horizontal configurations, as well as to daisy-chain a networked monitor solution (even if it were a lower-res sample (a la Watchout)) on a standard plasma or LCD monitor.
