I have got my d800 at the end of last week but did not get time to do a proper test until now. I did a test of the of the hacked gh2 vs 7D here http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/1795/dynamic-range-test-between-gh2-and-7d/p1 . As you can see I am not too fond of side table bar test. I try to do things the more methodologically that I can with the mean I have. I will have more time in the next weeks and will be able to do some better test.
I have seen some sample test of the mosaic filter on the Canon 7d. It seems very encouraging and does not look to suffer the same problem as the 5d model for wide angle lens http://nofilmschool.com/2012/06/mosaic-engineering-canon-7d-filter-work/ . The only thing bothering me is the yellow tint on the back screen, the rest in term of photography, until now that is what I have been testing is fabulous.
