D7000 vs. T2i... vs. D7100?

I've been shooting the T2i since it was first available. Used it on all sorts of broadcast work, motion graphics, the works. Great camera for what it is.

Always been a Nikon guy and started using my stills camera - D7000 - for multi camera shoots. Really liked the color better. So I tore down my T2i rig and stuck the D7000 on the rails/FF/mattebox setup. Put the T2i on my secondary rails set (generally used to stabilize the monster 80-200 2.8). Switched over for the last few weeks, about 6 solid shoot days, from fashion, to celebrity BTS to industrial location stuff. Run & gun and well-thought-out setups, natural light and staged sets.

In editing, I've been really surprised at how jello-ey the D7000 is. Better than a D90, better color than the Canon, but for real world work and editing, I'm really seeing a lot of jello. Swapped all the gear back the way it was.

Not a definitive pixel-peep or side by side test, rather hours of real-world work. Just too damn much jello when the canon is so much more stable image-wise.

Anyone seen some definitive footage from the D7100? I'd love to lose all those damn lens adapters and go strictly Nikon for DSLR. it's that or the BMC pocket cam for me...
