D7000 Movie Settings

I just bought a D7000 and I need a quick fix. I'm filming some surfers in Portugal on Saturday and the User Manual is pretty useless. I will be using the D7000 with a Nikkor 18-200 AFs lens on a Manfroto tripod. Could someone just give me a suggestion for Shutter speed, ISA, Aperture and anything else in M mode that will give me top quality results in 1080p.?? Conditions ought to be blue sky, bright sun but the surfers will be in black wetsuits and a tad back lit.

Shutter speed 1/30-1/50 for smooth movement. Set it higher to get the choppy effect of action movies. Set aperture depending on how you want the scene to look (less or more DOF), then set ISO to lock in exposure. Also, remember to turn on manual video settings or none of the above will work. Depending on if you're looking to do grading and other post stuff or not, you might also want to set up a flat picture control to get the most latitude out of the video (useful with black wetsuits vs bright skies).

I vote for 180° shutter for natural looking motion, that is, a shutter speed of half the frame rate. If you're shooting 1080p on the D7000 then you will be shooting 24p and therefore should shoot as close to 1/48 as possible, which is 1/50 on the D7000. You could go faster for sharper looking images but it starts looking choppy. I wouldn't be going much slower.
