So Nikon just announced the D5500. My question is, can you change the aperture while shooting now?

I must be blind. Sigh... Why would anyone who has a 5300 bother to upgrade to this new camera? It's hard to see any difference between this camera and the one it's replacing. Either stills or video. Maybe there are features there that I can't see yet due to the normal media hype-fog, IDK.

wow, so they did.

Looks like a touch screen and the flat picture profile have been added and GPS has been removed.

I hope it knocks the d5300 price down a bit more
