D5300 and 1080/60

Anyone read up on the 1080p/60 of the new D5300?

Nikon just lists frame rates available on their site. Wondering why this is the first of their line to get it - is the bit rate lowered, something like that? Is the image compromised in any way?

Waiting for some tests people - anyone picked one up yet? Would love to see some side by side frames with motion, blowing dark hair over a light background, etc...

Off topic, but apparently can change aperture in live view with the D5300 too, at least that's what I read this morning. Although a commentor on the video link below states otherwise. Anyone know for sure?
Edit - pretty sure this is not the case, don't know where that rumor came from.

Can't imagine there'd be a compromise on 1080p/60, this is just the newest tech DX camera. It's the first to use the new EXPEED 4 processor. The D7100 successor will be sure to have it too... can't wait.

60p looks the same quality more or less.. in A mode you can change F stop, but it changes expo pair, shutter, to keep it at same exposure.

Then my guess is that it will be the same as my NEX-5N: bitrate is the same at 24p and 60p, which means you have 1/2.5 times the data for every frame. Since frames are more similar to each other when you take them faster, this is not a problem for slow-moving scenes without lots of detail. But the codec tends to break with fast motion even at 24p, and it's even worse at 60p. Definitely usable, though, and it's only 24 Mbps.

Can you check the bitrate at 24p and 60p on the D5300?

I think the 60p is due to the new expeed 4 and the new sensor in the D5300. I also heard that the bitrate was more like 36 mbps on eoshd website.
