D300s clip

Made yesterday with the D300s. It's going to be a 45 minutes long movie, and these clips are from the first scenes. My first movie ever.

It is always a question of taste, but avoid to overexpose while shooting digital, not only it is very unpleasant to the viewer, but you lose sensible information to work in the post. Did you used Red Giant Look Suite? Be careful with that, use with moderation.

Some scenes are a tad overexposed, but that was intentionally done in pp. It shouldn't look too bad, as this is a 28 sec long teaser.

Yup - its noisy, shaky + dirty. But i like it too - the mood, the girl, the location... very nice!

I hate shaky cams!! The non shaky parts were nice. Seems like a lot of yellow stuff there. The phone was even yellow.

Its one of the best DSLR vids ive seen,definitely made me thinking "is it really D300s ?",in good hands footage looks great.

Isn't it always canon trying to catch up with Nikon!! I'm probably going for the D300s. Mainly for photography but wanted video on it. I think it will work just fine myself. Not going to sell all my 2.8 Nikon lens to buy a Canon. Then later I'll pick up a D400 or D700x maybe.
