Wondering in anyone has seen any incentives to buy the Canon C100 with kit lens today -Ill probably pick it up at Adorama or BH Photo (walking distance) sadly they are not offering any incentives even with throwing stuff in like discounted SD cards or other gear. Canon doesn't permit them to discount the item itself. Thought Id ask some of my fellow DVX users if they have seen any other resellers worth taking a look at or whom they have had a good experience with.…thanks

No special deals were available on the camera for cyber Monday. That said there is a $500 American Express reward card available for purchase of C100 with eligible lens. There is also zero% finance offer on approved credit for business entities.

Did you make your purchase yesterday? How did it go?

Not yet looking to do something this week- if you have something to offer feel free to direct message

There are some differences among dealers, not in price but in policies and add ons. B&H, Adorama, etc, will probably have it and you can walk in and then walk out with it. But Canon Cinema EOS cameras from either are not returnable.

AbelCine (near the Holland Tunnel since you seem to be in Manhattan) has a 30 day return policy and buying a camera gives you the option of attending one of their all-day training workshops for free.

Not a huge difference but something to consider.

Absolutely good point. Yes Im on 21st and 5th so access to all of those resource is no problem. Im also Tax Exempt. Kind of odd they are not returnable at BH and Adorama

I bought my C100 kit from AbelCine this past summer. Same price as B&H. AbelCine had a free C100 workshop to purchasers of the C100. Great service in a low pressure professional environment. Highly recommended.

Hi Nutmegger,

Thanks for the kind words and letting people know about our free class incentive. If anyone has any questions about the C100 or anything for that matter please feel free to contact me directly. vavila@abelcine.com

Hey Nutmegger,

I work in the training department at AbelCine NY. Thank you so much for all the kind words.

For anyone else who is interested, we will be teaching the next C100 class on March 5th 2014. We are also working on having camera classes available online. Stay tuned for more details.
