Anyone cutting a Canon XH-A1 in 4:3 SD mode with a DVX100B in 4:3?
If so, can you please post how well the image cut is and/or if there are visible issues that have to be dealt with?
Also, if a workable PRESET solution was found, what are those presets?
Many thanks in advance for those who respond.
BACKGROUND
We recently modified our two production units with one being 100% HD and the other 2nd unit having two DVX100B's, a Sony HVR-Z7U and a Canon XH-A1. However, we have one client who insists on having their program shot in SD 4:3 and for the moment in order to do that we would have to use two DVX100B's and either the Sony HVR-Z7U or Canon XH-A1 and from our DVX100B-HVX200 experiece there will be an image difference and that will turn this client into a monster. Now for logistical reasons (multiple shoots on this clients production days) we'd prefer to use the A1's or we'd just pick up a 3rd DVX100B till their contract runs out in October.
