Current Head Count - Upload Status

We are on the brink of not making it. We have too many renders to do in too little time. We shall see, but right now it is up in the air.

You can do it! Knock on your neighbors doors and get a neighborhood render farm going!:)
 
Larry R is taking care of the uploading/status of files as they come in.
If your name does not immediately appear as uploading please be patient.

I'll still try to keep links to threads and other relevant info up to date.

Special thanks to those of you that submitted before the deadline, it makes the screening process easier for us. For those of you taking it up to the wire, remember, that once the portal is closed tonight at Midnight Pacific Time, that's all she wrote. We're trying to get the films up by Saturday night, so PM Larry or me now if you have any last minute issues. Thanks.
 
Please try and get your films in by the deadline tonight, but if you're having some last minute compression isssues, let me know and we'll try and work with you. But you have to let us know about any issues before the deadline. For the next fest I'm not going to let you post a sig for your film unless you've done a test render. :)

boo hoo. I guess it really was last minute for what I wanted to do but at least I have time now to make it as best as possible. I actually gained some contacts while doing pre-production so I'm glad I did start it up.

I can't wait to view the entries! Congrats to everyone that made it to the deadline!
 
I'm beginning to upload "hoffnung" on my and Arielmans behalf. He cannot be found and his phone is off. So I'll be submitting using his info (name/address ect.).

Ahh, I can't enter the fest... But, I was wonderin' if anybody can tell me where we can watch the entries? Or even when we can watch the entries?

they usually post up a link where you can view the entries and I'm guessing you would need your dvxuser name and pass to view/vote
 
We're already posted, but I noticed a lot of people are running up against rendering/compression issues. Is it cool to post a draft render for submission purposes and render out the final for the screening in the next couple days? Is that a possibility?
 
We're qualifying all the entries now and will be loading everything onto our servers over the next few days. We need to make sure everything's running smoothly so you guys can download everything fast and without problems. As soon as were ready, we'll release the link for viewing. I'll be announcing the voting instructions soon and Jarred will be announcing the prizes (yes we got yer prizes--some cool toys).
