AC160 Current firmware for 160, not 160A

I was curious the current firmware for the AC160. The last one I did enabled the 1080 60P recording. Digging through the PASS website I couldn't find any new firmware, but really the only thing I saw was for the AC160A. Just curious if there was a newer firmware for my AC160, which has not been upgraded to the 160A through Panasonic.
 
did you send your camera in for the hardware upgrade? then it is a 160a I think.
I would call panasonic and ask them what you should do.
 
No. Read above, I did not upgrade, and it is not a 160A, it's a 160. I purchased it before the 160A was even announced.
 
It's probably best that you upgrade. I would imagine the future enhancements will only be put out on the 160A. Just a suspicion. . .
 
Firmware updates from Panasonic are infrequent, and usually limited to bug fixes only. If you have the firmware update for the 160 that adds 60p, then you're up to date; that's version 1.23, released in April of 2012.
