CS4 HDV 24p Capture Issues

I recently "upgraded" from CS3 to CS4 and I now cannot capture properly. The device playback (and therefore capture) jumps through intermittent time points, so that I am capturing only pieces of the footage.

I did not have that problem with CS3, but I have also deleted CS3 from the system.

Any ideas?

Try posting in the Premier section under post-production. Might have more luck there.

is your video card open gl 2.0 compatible? I had to upgrade mine two times. One because of the compatability issue wth premiere cs4(no playback) and a second time when I purchased my blue ray burner that needed an ochd compatible card to playback movies in my pc. I finally got everything to work.
