General Crop camera with Raw Video

I just wanted to double check. Is the 5D ii & iii the only camera that has the capability to shoot raw video?

I would like to stick to the Super 35mm sensor format, or as close as possible.
The 5D offers only full frame. Id like to get the video quality of the 5D iii on a crop camera.

There isnt anything similar out there is there?
 
Nothing similar. If the camera uses SD cards, the maximum write speed of the controller is too low for 1080p RAW video.
Plus, if the camera has aliasing/moire in H.264 video, it will have it on RAW video too, so, at best, it will be like the 5D2, not like the 5D3.
Two options: 5D3 and you close down your iris one stop to keep DoF under control, or BMC and use faster glass.
 
In this segment I would really like to see more from the Kineraw Mini. It looks like it would compete against the 5D3 in price but offer more dynamic range and SSDs instead of CF. The lack of material on it has kept me skeptical though.
 
Until the Black Magic 4k comes out, the KineRaw Mini seems to be the only other option, at least, in this sort of sub $5000 price range.

Although, you do mention crop camera, and although I know you mean Super35/APS-C sized, the BM Pocket Camera can do RAW CinemaDNG now, and there is also the Digital Bolex which it rumoured to be released this month.

Also, the 5d3 can do RAW in crop mode, and from what I can remember doing the calculations, it was essentially Super16/BM Pocket sized. There is also the benefit that it can do 1920x672 at 60fps in RAW, which you can conform to 1920x1080, and it looks pretty good.

There is also the ability, in the 5d3 crop mode, to up the resolution to 3584 x 1320, and that gives you the width of APS-C, and the height of the Black Magic Cinema Camera. Not sure what kind of frame rates or how this works exactly.
 
Okay, I was just double checking if maybe there was something out there that I never heard of or missed.

I haven't heard anything really about the KineRaw Mini. Will look into that.
But, I am getting the 5D. But Ill still look into it.
