First time user...be gentle!

What is the best way to make credits not flicker?
I've tried deinterlace.
I've tried flicker filter.
in both FCP and AE

I am watching this on a NTSC Screen and i see wavy and flickery footage.

thanks

Try backing the intensity level of your whites off, say to 75-80%

Thanks Blaine, I found out i had to uncheck the 1:2:1 Deflicker in the Controls tab.

When making a DVD, it is wise to make sure your footage's color space is within the broadcast color spectrum. This is why white (ie. 255-255-255 or in hex #FFFFFF) flickers on TVs. Hope that makes this more clear.

Just make sure that you dont use fonts that are generally rounded. YOu don't want to have fonts with very sharp edges or its gonna have problem interlacing.
