Crash the Superbowl Ad: The Man Challenge

You know. I didn't make it to the finals and to be honest I am really bewildered by their choices. None of my favorite ads made it to the finals.

I thought I would share my spot. It was shot on the 7D in LA with a small crew, no permit and a small budget (around 200 USD). Only had a dolly and reflectors. All dialogue was ADR.

I would appreciate feedback if you have any.

Not bad at all. Especially for the money. The ADR wasn't too distracting either, but the pacing did seem a tiny bit off

I agree, the pacing was off...but more importantly, you don't ever really see the product, just two quick shots.
It might have been nice for your lead character to carry the Pepsi can through his 'tests'...and offer the 'cockblockers' a can
instead of the rose, etc.

The product is king.

That would be my take...but personally, I really liked it...great job!

I just replaced the link with a slightly retooled version - this time with music. I think it helps the pacing!

I saw this one during the contest and liked it then, like it more now. Good concept. Hard to fit in so much in 30 seconds and I agree there should've been more product. Maybe "First Annual Pepsi Max Man Challenge". Looked good too.

well done! the pacing didn't bother me at all, but i agree with the "more product" crowd. needs more pepsi!

I agree with you all about not showing the product enough. That's the only thing I would change about it at this point.
