Did Some Test Shots With The Hv20, Play Back On Camera Looks Great But Play Back On Computer Looks Slightly Blurred. Shot In Hdv 24p With Iaf, Rendered As De-interlaced With Square Pixels For The Lcd Monitor.
Any Ideas ?? Would Have Uploaded It But This Hdv Stuff Consumes A Hell Of A Lot Of Time.
Thx

If you don't remove the pulldown and render it as 24p it will be blurry because there will be ghosting. remove the pulldown first, you will get much better results or shoot 60i, de-interlace and output as 30p. Use blend the fields method for this.

well I solved most of the problem, I was using my internet computer which had adobe loaded on it for quick trials, switched over to the editing computer which is much faster and the results were impressively better. I dont have any software at this point to do pull down removal and from what Ive seen there running around $200 for a copy, dont think Ive seen any freeware out there to do the job.
thx for the reply

There are free scripts for pulldown removal but I must say they are not user friendly. I am using TMPGenc 4 Xpress to do the job which is around $100.

i am having a crap load of problems just capturing my footage to my camera....what program do you use for the pulldown thats 100$???
im frequently on hv20.com forums and i never read anyhing other than the 500$ cineform program that does it.....ofcourse there is the pulldown removal method that deals with 5 programs and rendering time, and all this headache work that just doesnt seem worth it....
