GH2 Crane work with GH2

I have done extensive crane work with an HMC40 and relied on remote zoom. Remote focus was possible but I didn't rely on it.

With the GH2, is remote focus possible? For those using a GH2 on a crane, how do you address the focus issue when you want something specific?
