I'm usually careful with my DVX100b and even just finished a 6-week long trip on the road with it without hurting it, and of course I come home and that's where I happen to accidentally fall and drop the camera just about a couple feet to the floor and crack the LCD screen.
Thank goodness the rest of it works fine and don't need the screen currently but would like to get it fixed soon of course. I live in California and know of a Panasonic service center in Santa Monica, but was wondering if there's an alternate place I can take it to since it's a bit far and was also wondering if anyone has an estimate of how much this would cost me (being but a poor film student)? Thanks!
