Just wondering if its best covering a corporate conference in 25 or 50 frames.. I dont need any slow motion footage but might need some zoomed footage (not sure if that matters with frame rates)
aren't you going to lose exposure at 50fps - typical corporate conference being somewhat dark if you're talking about a hotel conference room with lights dimmed for PowerPoint (or not even dimmed some of these are dungeons).
But the 160 is quite good in low light (although I always use my AF102 with my constant aperture Lumix f2.8 lenses in those situations.) However cranking up the gain will solve some low light issues and where possible keep extended focal lengths as short as you can.
The 160A has a huge range of adjustable variables. Understanding the effects of these scene file parameters is key- Barry Green's book is essential on this point as he covers the interaction between the settings. With this info, I am able to get very reasonable gained up shots fairly grain free from this very versatile camera.
Cheers!
