well, I am not sure how good this as a monitor will be. It may be ok for framing, but for focus a resolution larger than 480x234 is necessary, IMO.
 
That's kind of a POS- any Marshall or IKAN would completely blow it away and do it via HDMI too. This is not going to give you any better resolution than the built in screen, possibly quite worse. (And it looks kinda ghetto- a minor concern if you do work for hire...) :)
