Hi.
- I just recently imported HVX200 footage into my MacBookPro for a feature length movie. It was shot on 1080i/24p mode.
- I brought it into FCP, which is converted from MXF files to MOV, without changing any settings.
- When I edit in the timeline, i notice a weird interlace thing. I deinterlace it, which solves the problem.
3 questions:
1) is there anything I should have done (specific settings) to have it imported correctly?
2) in case i captured it at a wrong setting, is it reversible?
3) does de-interlacing cause a loss of quality?
I'm sorry if I'm a noob, but please help me. I'm losing sleep over this. THANKS SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP!
