Corrado Part II

Ted, things are much tougher these days because of the tight insurance liability issues / changes. It was almost impossible for him to be insured before the theft thing and now he runs the risk of being back in jail for his actions that are a felony because the amount was over $500. Don't know anyone that would take him now unless it's a 2 day shoot, CSI Miami type part. Then when he is out of jail (prob 30 days) he WILL violate his parole again and be right back in the slammer just like last time.

I have always liked Tom as an actor BTW.

He could always shoot a prison type doc on his new camera phones and get more into producing.

First of all, in the films he was doing, no one bonded him. He was doing small under $2M films that weren't bonded to begin with, so none of that will affect his situation.

he wasn't bondable on larger films BEFORE the phone thing, so nothing changes there either.

As far as the CSI Miami stuff, his guest star stuff on that show were like 6 day gigs, and they flew him to location (NM) so no worries there - besides TV shows aren't bonded like film is.

Again, he was troubled to begin with. This little hiccup won't hurt his career one bit, except for reinforce the idea that big producers won't want him on big movies in big roles. He'll still get the small stuff he was getting before.

I just saw "Point Break" again and had totally forgotten TS was in it, in a nice juicy little role as the DEA agent that got burned went they raided the surf nazies place . Say what you will about TS, when he's on screen, you can't take your eyes off the man, he does deliver. That does bring up another question, Sizemore was penciled in for RRB, I'm assuming in a major role, how does this little "hiccup" effect that? You still planning to use him (I mean assuming of course, he's still available and this problem doesn't prevent his patticipation) ?

I'd still use him.

I think the phone thing is totally false, IMHO. I spoke to him as recently as yesterday. If he had truly stolen all that, he'd be in jail.

There was trouble at the verizon store; he got into it with the salesman somehow. Nothing was stolen however and no charges have been filed.

Good to know, people have been saying charges were filed. I'll let them know that is not the case.

Forgot about my previous post.

No charges were ever filed against Tom because it turned out to be false info.

He got a shake down for $. He did no wrong.

Edit: This post was about the bizzar pen and cell phone thing.

This whole Mickey R. thing makes me think Tom is sitting, watching and wating for that one role. hope so. Hollywierd loves come back stories.

Hi all,

Just dropping by to see if there's any news on Corrado. (besides Tom's personal life, lol)

I look forward to hearing more, Adam. Good luck with everything.

Hi Adam,

I'm a little late coming to both threads, but I gotta say this is great stuff! Really glad to see you took your dream and made it happen. I might have missed it, but didn't you have a link to the Corrado script at one point? I'd love to read it.

best,
JP

Oh I can understand not wanting to post your baby in a public forum, absolutely. Hmm, could've sworn there was a link somewhere in one of Adam's posts. Oh, well great Job Adam. I'm looking forward to seeing Corrado someday!

best,
JP
