Corporate Video shot entirely w 7D

Heres a corporate project I finished last week shot entirely with the Canon EOS 7D. Edit and Grading in EDIUS.

The crane shots were done with a DIY 13 foot jib. But otherwise, all the dolly/track shots were done with the DIY mini track & jib.
How to make the DIY mini track & Jib in this thread;

Great vid! I especially liked the shots in the tea room! Some shots seem to lack proper focus - did you use an external monitor or the just the 7Ds screen...?

Of all the stuff in your sig Richard, its the last that I envy the most... been married only last July to my Hi school sweetheart, started going after her when I was twelve we parted in college cuz I screwed up, she left for the US and never heard or seen her in 18 years. -thats until we had our first hi school reunion in 2005. -and we realized we havent had closure.. never really said goodbye.. then bam!! -I was already divorced and she was also sorta thru with her marriage already.. she finalized it with a divorce and here we are hoping to have something like what you have... sigh..

your blessed man..

Nice job Teddy. Can you share what your audio set up was and lens choices?

Thanks ZIM, mic is an AKG shotgun mounted on DIY shockmount on a DIY boom made out of extendable paint pole. Record to a ZOOM H4N.

Lenses are, Tokina 11-16mm f2.8, Nikon 50 f1.4, Nikon, 80-200mm f2.8, sigma 20-40mm f2.8(nikon mount)

I really liked the tea scene. But I had a problem when you cut up the talking heads. It takes the focus of what they are saying. Also the colorbalance shifted a bit to much here and there.

But it has a nice flow and most of the images are really nice. You managed to stay clear of aliasing on the fasad which was impressive!

great video!

thanks!

But I had a problem when you cut up the talking heads. It takes the focus of what they are saying.

@ editman,

yeah, the cuts with the talking heads was a "solution" i thought of, for "shortening" and removing the gaps and errors in their unrehearsed statements. I figured if i just do a cut it would jump, so i decided to just cut and adjust framing to create a faux multi cam effect. I was calculating that they have timed exposure for rhythm and I ran out of relevant cut aways.. sigh..excuses excuses.. but thanks for constructively pointing them out. -we continue our growth through constructive critique.
