corporate Promo

well, as a corporate promo i found it to be very very long....and the lack of any dialogue or narration makes it much less interesting.
i didn't like the blue-white halo action of the blown out highlights in all the gh1 shots.
also, the concept isn't well defined. i'm left wondering why you have all these walking steadicam shots in there.
seems more like you just had fun shooting a famous person and playing with the cameras.
did you have any concept or strategy going into the shoot?
you could probably edit this thing way down, add some audio and titles and some more exciting music and have it be a really good piece.
hope my criticism is helpful. =)

Ok here is another one

Again, looking to improve and welcome any constructive criticism

You may recognize the "Bride" as Melissa Rycroft of "the Batcher" and "dancing with the stars"

Shot with a HMC150 and fisheye and my GH1 with a Minolta 50mm f/1.7

Thanks
John

One of the things that sort of irritated me was the use of the 'fisheye' wide angle lens. I think for some shots I'm ok with 'anamorphic' but for many of the interior shots, because of the distortion due to the wide angle, the shot 'felt' off... and with some of the movement, due to my sensitive stomach in regard to motion sickness, I was getting that strange feeling... the Wife is ever wont to point out my weak stomach in this regard...
